For eligibility of the State of Alabama's Drug-Free Workplace Premium Certification Program and $25,000 Workers Compensation discount, there are certain training and other requirements that must be present in the City's Substance Abuse policy and program.                      WHEREAS, For eligibility of the State of Alabama's Drug-Free Workplace Premium Certification Program and $25,000 Workers Compensation discount, there are certain training and other requirements that must be present in the City's Substance Abuse policy and program. Human Resources has audited the City's policy and updated it to reflect those requirements as noted in the highlighted version attached.

                     NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:

                     SECTION 1:                     Approves the updated Substance Abuse Policy and Program as reflected in the attached document which becomes a part of this resolution upon adoption. 

                     SECTION 2:                     This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
