WHEREAS, Currently, the intersections located at South Alston Street and West Myrtle Avenue and South Alston Street and West Roosevelt Avenue are 2-way stops; and
WHEREAS, Due to increased vehicular and pedestrian traffic, on street parking, and site distance concerns, the Engineering Department recommends these two intersections be converted to 4-way stop controlled intersections.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Approve both 4-ways stops located along South Alston Street at West Myrtle Avenue and West Roosevelt Avenue.
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
