WHEREAS, the Parks & Recreation Department is requesting approval for the Jehovah Witness Community to use Heritage Park to display free Bible literature and only speak with the public when approached, and
WHEREAS, this will take place in Heritage Park on Fridays and Saturdays from 8 am to 3 pm until January 1, 2024.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Approves the Jehovah Witness Community to use Heritage Park on Fridays and Saturdays from 8 am to 3 pm until January 1, 2024.
SECTION 2: Approves the Jehovah Witness Community to set up two mobile stands to display free Bible literature and only speak with the public when approached.
SECTION 3: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
