The door frame for the pair of exit doors in the south courtroom wall appears to be holding water. While we are in the process of renovating the courtroom, this problen needs to be addressed. The Fire Inspector has made the suggestion to upgrade the two exit lights in the courtroom to add emergency LED lighting, add one wall mounted LED emergency light to the south wall of the courtroom and add two emergency ceiling mounted LED lights in the magistrate office area. E-J Builders submitted Change Order #2 in the amount of $1,734.54.
We are not asking for additional funds as the 10% contingencies will cover this cost.

WHEREAS, While in the process of renovating, it was brought to our attention that the door frame for the pair of exit doors in the south courtroom wall appears to be holding water, and
WHEREAS, The Fire Inspector has made the suggestion to upgrade the two exit lights in the courtroom to add emergency LED lighting, add one wall mounted LED emergency light to the south wall of the courtroom and add two emergency ceiling mounted LED lights in the magistrate office area, and
WHEREAS, E-J Builders has submitted Change Order #2 in the amount of $1,734.54 for the additional work.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Approves Change Order #2 in the amount of $1,734.54 and increases E-J Builders' contract to $166,725.29 under Account No. 400-1030-5100 R45 CONST.
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
