WHEREAS, the Nature Parks Department requests to submit a grant application for the FY25 Legislative Event Grant, and
WHEREAS, Representative Francis Holk-Jones has nominated Graham Creek's Annual Christmas Light Trail as a potential recipient of this grant, and
WHEREAS, this is a $2,600 grant with no matching funds required.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Council would like to thank Representative Holk-Jones for her support of Graham Creek Nature Preserve and the Christmas Light Trail.
SECTION 2: Council approves the application to be submitted for the FY25 Legislative Event Grant for the Graham Creek Nature Preserve Annual Christmas Light Trail.
SECTION 3: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
