WHEREAS, the City desires to update the street functional classification information to better analyze the current street network, and
WHEREAS, Engineering requested a proposal for professional services from Volkert to study and provide the necessary functional classification information, and
WHEREAS, Engineering recommends approval of Volkert's Transportation Continuity Plan proposal in the not to exceed amount of $49,750.00
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Approves the professional fee proposal from Volkert in the amount of $49,750.00 for the City Street Functional Classification Data update.
SECTION 2: Appropriates the necessary funding of $49,750.00 under Account No. 400-3020-6212 A12 TCP23.
SECTION 3: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
