WHEREAS, the Nature Parks Department is in the design phase of an addition of a restroom off of the south entrance at Graham Creek Nature Preserve, and
WHEREAS, the handicap parking spaces, sidewalk and water line installation will be within the Powersouth Energy Cooperative transmission line easement, and
WHEREAS, Powersouth Energy Cooperative has requested a license agreement for these improvements within its transmission line easement at Graham Creek Nature Preserve.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Approves the execution of the of a license agreement with Powersouth Energy Cooperative for improvements within its transmission line easement at Graham Creek Preserve and authorizes the Mayor's signature on the agreement.
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
