WHEREAS, a new road is required to be constructed for access to the pickleball courts planned north of the farmers market. The new road will require a survey for the proposed drainage pond to be constructed by the Public Works department.
WHEREAS, Leisure Services requests the appropriation of funds for survey in the amount of $1,300, and
WHEREAS, this is an unplanned project for FY23, but is needed to accommodate the pickleball courts.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Approves the Sawgrass, LLC to provide a survey to construct a drainage pond for pickleball courts and a new road.
SECTION 2: Appropriates funds in the amount of $1,300 to account # 400-5030-5108 for survey work.
SECTION 3: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
