Summary
Council appropriated $22,500 for a Barin Field Exhibit in July 2024. $17,500 of the items needed were not available until after Oct. 1. That money went back into the general fund. We have also identified additional items totaling $2,500 are needed for the exhibit. Marketing requests that council approve a total $20,000 for the exhibit in capital account 100-5061-5100.

WHEREAS, Council appropriated $22,500 for a Barin Field Exhibit and items totaling $17,500 were not available until after Oct. 1, 2024
WHEREAS, This exhibit will commemorate important Foley history,
WHEREAS an additional $2,500 is needed to complete the exhibit,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Approves a budget increase in the amount of $20,000 and appropriates funds to account number 100-5061-5100
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
