A Resolution to Memorialize the Execution of the Contract with D&J Enterprises for the City’s Debris Removal Services.
Summary
The City of Foley solicited and opened bids on August 12, 2021 at 2:30PM for professional disaster debris removal services. After review and evaluation of the proposals, it was recommended that award be made to D & J Enterprises. The City of Foley requests the Council to memorialize the acceptance of the bid submitted by D & J Enterprises Inc. for debris removal services, memorialize the execution of the contract and requests authorization for the Mayor to execute a task agreement if the need arises. Due to the threat of a current hurricane in the Gulf, the Mayor has already executed the contract with D&J Enterprises on August 26th.

WHEREAS, the City of Foley solicited and opened bids on August 12, 2021 at 2:30PM for professional disaster debris removal services, and
WHEREAS, after review and evaluation of the proposals, it was recommended that award be made to D & J Enterprises Inc.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Memorializes the acceptance of the D & J Enterprises Inc’s bid for professional disaster debris removal services.
SECTION 2: Memorializes the Mayor's execution of the contract agreement with D & J Enterprises Inc.
SECTION 3: Authorizes the Mayor to execute a task agreement with D & J Enterprises should the need for their services arise.
SECTION 4: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
