WHEREAS, The Foley Public Library requests permission to apply for the FY2020 Dollar General Summer Reading Program Grant, and
WHEREAS, Foley Public Library will request $3,000 to be applied towards the Summer Reading Program, and
WHEREAS, there are no match requirements, and
WHEREAS, grant applications are due February 20, 2020 with awards being announced in May 2020.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Authorizes permission to the Foley Public Library to apply for the FY2020 Dollar General Summer Reading Program Grant.
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
