WHEREAS, the Nature Parks Department has $75,000 budgeted in FY24 for a tractor, and
WHEREAS, the current small tractor is unable to perform all the work duties and has been constantly breaking down, and
WHEREAS, it is now requested that the tractor be removed from the FY24 plan and purchased this year, and
WHEREAS, Parish Tractor Company, LLC has a Kubota 44HP Tractor with attachments available through the Sourcewell Contract for $37,606.14.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Approves amending the FY23 budget for Capital account 100-5090-5100 in the amount of $37,607.
SECTION 2; Approves the purchase of a 44HP Kubota Tractor with attachments through Sourcewell contract from Parish Tractor Company, LLC at the quoted amount of $37,606.14.
SECTION 3: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
