WHEREAS, in order to accommodate the growth of the City, the Police Department needs to initiate some changes to certain positions within the department, which will amend the Pay Classification Plan and are budget neutral.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Authorizes an amendment to the Pay Classification Plan to convert and upgrade the position of School Resource Corporal (Job Code 2010126 / Grade 180) to a the position of Sergeant/Code Enforcement (Job Code 2010145 / Grade 200).
SECTION 2: Authorizes an amendment to the Pay Classification Plan to convert the position of Corporal/Sex Offender Compliance (Job Code 2010125 / Grade 180) to the position of Corporal/Intelligence (Job Code 2010146 / Grade 180).
SECTION 3: Authorizes an amendment to the Pay Classification Plan to convert one (1) slot of the position of Patrol Officer (Job Code 2010118 / Grade 150) to an additional slot of the position of School Resource Officer (Job Code 2010120 / Grade 150).
SECTION 4: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
