WHEREAS, Council approved two sponsorships within the FY26 budget to assist with the athletic programs at Foley High School. Due to a staffing change, the current contracts need to be modified, and
WHEREAS, staff recommends moving forward with those changes, modifying the budget as requested and authorizing the Mayor to execute the new performance contracts once finalized with Baldwin County Board of Education and Foley High School staff.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Approves an additional $62,000 in account 100-5000-6021 (Class Instructors).
SECTION 2: Authorizes the Mayor to execute the updated performance contracts once finalized between the City, Baldwin County Board of Education, and Foley High School staff.
SECTION 3: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
