WHEREAS, bids were solicited and opened on July 20, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. for the construction of an elevated boardwalk and rubberized pathway at Graham Creek Preserve, and,
WHEREAS, two bids were received and both were considerably over budget.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Reject bids received from Blade Construction, LLC and R & S Paving & Grading Inc.
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
