WHEREAS, the Foley Police Department is requesting to go to bid for the fencing at the Justice Center for security purposes, and
WHEREAS, the fencing project would include fencing, communication, and electrical power to the gates.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Approves going to bid for the fencing at the Justice Center including communications and electrical power to the gates and approves award up to $70,000.
SECTION 2: Appropriates $70,000 to Account No. #400-2010-5103.
SECTION 3: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
