The shows will begin at 8:45pm and will run eight (8) minutes in length. We have plans to limit the amount of attendees in viewing areas on the property to comply with social distancing standards. WHEREAS, OWA requests to host two additional fireworks shows on Saturday, August 22, 220 for Community Safety Day and on Saturday, September 26, 2020 for Movie Night.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Approves fireworks display to be held at the OWA grounds at 8:45 p.m. on August 22, 2020 and September 26, 2020.
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
