WHEREAS, Resolution 15-2177 appropriated $300,000.00 for the construction of North Pine and West Fern Drainage Improvements project, and
WHEREAS, the City solicited and publicly opened sealed bids for the project on July 14, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. and the results are as follows:

Blade Construction, LLC $312,347.00
Ammons & Blackmon Construction $322,081.65
WHEREAS, Hutchinson, Moore & Rauch, LLC performed value engineering redesign for an additional amount of $6,200.00 to their original contract amount of $46,000.00.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Accepts the lowest responsible bid submitted by Baldwin County Construction in the amount of $294,347.81 under Account No. 12-665-7341 R17 CONST.
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
