WHEREAS, new door locks for the Civic Center was budgeted in the FY2021 budget, and
WHEREAS, the new locks were ordered but never received during the FY2021 budget cycle due to supply chain issues, and
WHEREAS, the Municipal Complex Department would like to move forward with the new lock purchases in FY2022, and
WHEREAS, the Municipal Complex Department requests to increase the FY2022 budget by $2,433 and move forward with the purchase.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Council approves the budget increase to account #100-1020-6010 Building and Grounds in the amount of $2,433.00.
SECTION 2: Council approves the request to move forward with the purchase of the new Civic Center door locks in the amount of $2,433.00 from Aaron's Lock & Security.
SECTION 3: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
