WHEREAS, Resolution # 22-0043 approved the Foley Public Library's application for a $3,000.00 Dollar General Grant with no local match, and
WHEREAS, Dollar General has awarded the Foley Public Library a $3,000 Summer Reading Grant, and
WHEREAS, the Foley Public Library has designated the expenditure of the grant to purchase materials in support of the Summer Reading Program.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Accepts the award of the $3,000.00 Dollar General Grant for the purchase of materials in support of the Summer Reading Program.
SECTION 2: Appoints John Jackson to serve as the grant manager, who will be responsible for submitting all required reports to the granting agency and to the city's grant administrator.
SECTION 3: Amends the budget as follows: increase account # 201-5021-4202 (Dollar General Grant - Revenue) and account # 201-5021-6189 (Summer Reading - Expense) by $3,000.00 each.
SECTION 4: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
