WHEREAS, Resolution 19-1170 approved application for a Walmart Foundation Community Grant to purchase equipment for the Community Services Unit, and
WHEREAS, the Police Department requests the permission of the council to accept the Walmart Foundation Community Grant award in the amount of $1000.00 with no matching funds required, and,
WHEREAS, the Police Department requests to increase the budget by $1000.00 in the Walmart Foundation revenue account # 100-2010-4120 and increase the budget in the small tools account #100-2010-6053 by $1000.00 resulting in a zero impact to the budget.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Approves the Police Department's acceptance of the Walmart Foundation Community Grant award of $1000.00 in order to purchase equipment for the Community Services Unit.
SECTION 2: Appropiates $1000.00 to the Walmart Foundation revenue account # 100-2010-4120 and to the Police small tools account #100-2010-6053.
SECTION 3: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
