WHEREAS, bids were received for the TIGER Phase 2 project on June 2, 2015 at 2:00 p.m., and
WHEREAS, the lowest base bid received for this project was from Ammons & Blackmon Construction in the amount of $1,437,340.50, and
WHEREAS, the budget in Account No. 31-665-7200 is $1,354,337.66
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Approves awarding the lowest base bid in the amount of $1,437,340.50 for the TIGER Phase 2 project to Ammons & Blackmon Construction for Account No. 31-665-7200.
SECTION 2: Amends Account No. 31-665-7200 to increase the budget by $83,002.84.
SECTION 3: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
