WHEREAS, the Environmental Department has been awarded $65,500 for the Alabama Department of Environmental Management GOMESA Litter Trap Grant, and
WHEREAS, the Environmental Department requests to amend the budget accordingly: $65,500 to 100-2040-4202 GOMESA Litter Trap Grant & $65,500 to 100-2040-6026 GOMESA Litter Trap Grant Expense.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Accepts the Alabama Department of Environmental Management GOMESA Litter Trap Grant for $65,500.
SECTION 2: Amends the budget accordingly: $65,500 increase to 100-2040-4202 GOMESA Litter Trap Grant & $65,500 increase to 100-2040-6026 GOMESA Litter Trap Grant Expense
SECTION 3: Council memorializes the Mayor's signature on the grant agreement that has been sent back to ADEM.
SECTION 4: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
