WHEREAS, Parks & Recreation has budgeted a full sized truck in the FY 24 budget for $39,000, and
WHEREAS, Stivers Ford Lincoln has a pickup available that meets the needs of the department for $37,920, and
WHEREAS, Parks & Recreation requests to purchase the 2023 Ford F-150 Supercrew 4x2 pickup using the State of Alabama Purchasing Contract number MA220000003128-14 under account number 100-5030-5100.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Approves the Parks & Recreation Department to purchase the 2023 Ford F-150 Supercrew 4x2 pickup using the State of Alabama Purchasing Contract number MA220000003128-14 under account number 100-5030-5100.
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
