WHEREAS, a safe pathway is needed at the Foley Municipal Airport for visitors, tenants and employees who walk to and from the long term parking area to the main building, and,
WHEREAS, a contract is in place with James Bros. Excavating to provide sidewalk repair and construction of new sidewalks.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Approves the quote from James Bros. Excavating in the amount of $17,760.00 plus a 10% contingency for a total of $19,536.00 to construct this sidewalk.
SECTION 2: Appropriates $19,536.00 to Account #400-3010-5101 A23 Air.
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
