WHEREAS, the Ken Stabler XOXO Foundation will be hosting their inaugural Ken Stabler Gridiron Challenge on August 25, 2018, and
WHEREAS, the Ken Stabler XOXO Foundation request $2,500 to help with expenses for the event.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Approves a one-time $500 donation payable to Mobile Christian Academy to assist with travel to the Gridiron Challenge.
SECTION 2: Approves a one-time $1,000 donation payable to Pelahatchie High School from Pelahatchie, Mississippi to assist with travel to the Gridiron Challenge.
SECTION 3: Approves a one-time $1,000 donation payable to the Chronic Reoccuring Encephalopathy Foundation.
SECTION 4: Amends Account No. 100-5042-6172 accordingly in support of this action.
SECTION 5: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
