Summary
The Library has received a proposal from Rethinking Libraries, LLC for a professional facility design advocacy and consulting service not to exceed $15,000.00. The service will include working with library staff and the Foley community to assist in determining library trends, space allotments, future space needs, the future of existing services and programs, the potential for new programs, and the type of space and equipment needed to fulfill these goals. This will better prepare library staff to have a more meaningful interaction with the architectural firm that will design the new library.

WHEREAS, We received a proposal from ReThinking Libraries, LLC for Professional Facility Design Advocacy and Consulting Services in an amount not to exceed $15,000.00.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Accepts the proposal from ReThinking Libraries, LLC for Professional Facility Design Advocacy and Consulting Services authorizes the Mayor to sign the proposed agreement, and
SECTION 2: Appropriates funds in an amount not to exceed $15,000.00 under account # 400-5020-5101 R68 New Library PROF.
SECTION 3: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
