WHEREAS, The City has received concerns over the safety of the intersection of County Road 65 and Airport Road, and
WHEREAS, Resolution 25-1223 approved upgraded street lighting at the intersection, and
WHEREAS, there is a request to add two new street lights to total four street lights for more illumination of the intersection, and
WHEREAS, we received a quote from Riviera Utilities for the installation of one single arm Cobra lights at the NW corner and one single arm Cobra lighting at the NE corner in the amount of $6,370.72 and a $37.00 monthly fee.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Approves the installation of two new street lights at the intersection of County Road 65 and Airport Road and the one-time installation charge from Riviera Utilities and appropriate $6,370.72 under Account No #100-3020-6012 and a monthly fee under Account No #100-1012-6123.
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
