Summary
We budgeted for a zero turn to maintain the CAFFM property as well as the new school fields. We are requesting a pull-behind mower to handle needed work due to its efficiency. We budgeted $15,000 and have quote for $30,500 with Sourcewell Grounds Maintenance Contract. This will require an increase in the budget by $15,500.

WHEREAS, Foley Sports Tourism budgeted $15,000 for a zero-turn mower for CAFFM and school fields, and
WHEREAS, Foley Sports Tourism has found a pull-behind mower on Sourcewell Contract for $30,500,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Approves an increase in the capital account 100-5040-5100 of $15,500;
SECTION 2: Approves the purchase of a Front Mount Mower from Deere & Company for $30,500 under purchasing contact Sourcewell Grounds Maintenance 031121-DAC from account 100-5040-5100
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
