WHEREAS, the Police Department purchased all budgeted capital purchases and has remaining budget funds of $39,017.30, and
WHEREAS, the Police Department is requesting to expend Capital Funds in the amount of $3,722.41 to convert Command Staff Tahoe (capital asset # 10025) into a Patrol Tahoe from Account 01-608-7010, and
WHEREAS, the Police Department is requesting to expend Capital Funds in the amount of $29,338.92 for the purchase of a 2016 Ford Explorer to replace the wrecked Charger (capital asset # 6688) from Account 01-608-7010
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Approves the expenditure of Funds for the conversion of Command Staff Tahoe (capital asset # 10025) into a Patrol Tahoe in the amount of $3,722.41 from Account 01-608-7010.
SECTION 2: Approves the expenditure of Funds for the purchase of a 2016 Ford Explorer to replace the wrecked Charger in the amount of $29,338.92 from Account 01-608-7010.
SECTION 3: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
