WHEREAS, the participation rate of employees donating to the annual United Way campaign has dropped significantly over the past few years, and
WHEREAS, the Human Resources Division would like to offer an incentive to employees to participate in the 2021 United Way campaign.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Approves offering an incentive to permanent full-time and permanent part-time employees who participate in the 2021 United Way campaign with a minimum donation of $5.00 per pay period to receive four (4) hours of personal leave.
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
