WHEREAS, the Receation Department would like to go to bid on one (1) 4x2 Extended Cab pick-up truck that will be used as a service vehicle by the Field crew, and
WHEREAS, the current vehicle is a 1997 Ford Ranger that will be retired due to transmission issues.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Approves Recreation to go to bid for one 4x2 Extended Cab pick-up truck, not to exceed $25,000.
SECTION 2: The vehicle is in the FY17 Budget for $25,000 under Capital account 01-622-7010.
SECTION 3: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
