                     WHEREAS, The current job title of the Assistant City Clerk does not align well with the current job duties of that position which currently contain a wider breadth of administrative tasks then just the Clerk's Office duties. The City Clerk desires to modify that job title to "Administrative Assistant IV" to better describe the overall purpose of that position. No other changes to the position are necessary and the action is budget neutral.

                     NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:

                     SECTION 1: Authorizes an amendment to the Pay Classification Plan to change the job title of Assistant City Clerk (Job Code #1010108) to Administrative Assistant IV (Job Code #1010124) effective with the Pay Period Beginning February 4, 2020.      

                     SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
