WHEREAS, AMIC (Alabama Municipal Insurance Corporation) is asking that a voting delegate be chosen on behalf of the City of Foley to conduct business at their annual membership meeting in Tuscaloosa, Alabama on Saturday, May 16, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at the Bryant Conference Center, Birmingham/Central Room, and
WHEREAS, Councilmembers Quaites and Blackwell have already been chosen as delegate and 1st alternate delegate, respectively, for the Annual Convention Business Meeting on Monday, May 18, 2015 at 3:45 p.m.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Appoints Council Member Vera Quaites as the Voting Delegate and Council Member Rick Blackwell as the 1st Alternate Delegate.
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
