WHEREAS, the Foley Fire Department has a 2014 KME custom fire pumper (VIN: 1K9AF428XEN058681 / FAS 6668) which experienced a catastrophic engine failure in 2024 and has not been repaired due to lack of parts availability.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Approves the surplus of the 2014 KME custom fire pumper (FAS 6668)and authorizes the fire department to offer this pumper for sell, as-is.
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
