WHEREAS, GMC submitted a proposal to include land surveying, environmental services, preliminary geotechnical services, land planning, and grant application for a parcel of land along beach express that the City is interested in purchasing through the SEEDS grant program, and
WHEREAS, the City would like to obtain these services and move forward with the contract and amend the budget accordingly.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Accepts GMC's proposal, authorizes the Mayor to sign the proposal, and appropriates $71,345.00 to Account No #100-1011-6020 (Professional Fees - Admin).
SECTION 2: Authorizes GMC to submit the SEEDS grant application on behalf of the City of Foley.
SECTION 3: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
