WHEREAS, The Street Department requests to purchase a 2024 Skid Steer 299D from Thompson Tractor for $209,510.00 under Sourcewell # 011723-CAT, under account# 100-3011-5100, AND
WHEREAS, The Street Department is requesting to memorialize the surplus of the 2019 John Deere 333G Skid Steer (Serial # 1T0333GMEKF361896 ), disposed of as trade-in to Thompson Tractor, for a credit of $14,000.00 towards the purchase of the 2024 Skid Steer 299D, AND
WHEREAS, This purchase is included in the FY25 budget for $150,000.00, but the Street Department plans on saving funds on other purchases and is not requesting additional funds at this time.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Approves to memorialize the surplus of the 2019 John Deere 333G Skid Steer (Serial # 1T0333GMEKF361896 ) and disposal as trade-in to Thompson Tractor, for a credit of $14,000.00.
SECTION 2: Approves the purchase of a 2024 Skid Steer 299D from Thompson Tractor for $209,510.00 under Sourcewell Contract #011723-CAT, under account# 100-3011-5100.
SECTION 3: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
