WHEREAS, the Foley Police Department seeks permission to apply for the Firehouse Subs Public Safety Grant to purchase 2 ATV's for the purpose of deploying officers for situations/events such as natural disaster
response, search and rescue operations, locating missing persons (i.e Alzheimer and Autistic persons), parades and other large crowd events (i.e balloon festival).
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Approves the application for the Foley Police Department to apply for the FireHouse Sub Public Safety Grant.
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
