Requesting allocation of $280,000 for tennis court renovation at Mel Roberts Park to Capital Project 12-665-7383 R32 Phase 1. The work includes City forces demolishing the courts and providing backfill for the subgrade in the estimated amount of $102,000. The additional work will be bid for paving, surfacing, fencing, lighting, and electrical in the estimated amount of $178,000. The project was planned for next fiscal year; however, we would like to move forward with City forces to ensure meeting the timeline for the high school tennis season.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Allocates $280,000 to Capital Projects account 12-665-7383 R32 Phase 1 for tennis courts renovation and amends the budgets accordingly.
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
