WHEREAS, Neel-Schaffer has submitted a professional services proposal for construction engineering and inspection for the Fern Avenue & Hwy 59 Intersection Improvements Project and the Iberville Square Turn Lane Improvement Project; and
WHEREAS, in order to be as efficient as possible in regards to construction timing and capital budget impact, a combined proposal was requested and submitted; and
WHEREAS, Engineering recommends approving Neel-Schaffer's proposal for $65,517.46 for these services, defined as $24,718.18 for the Fern Avenue & Hwy 59 Intersection Improvements Project and $40,779.28 for the Iberville Square Turn Lane Improvement Project.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Approve the Neel-Schaffer professional services proposal for construction engineering and inspection for the Fern Avenue & Hwy 59 Intersection improvements Project in the amount of $24,718.18 under account # 208-3000-5103 and the Iberville Square Turn Lanes Project in the amount of $40,779.28 under account # 208-3000-5104 for a combined total of $65,517.46.
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
