Summary
It is the City's responsibility to maintain appropriate safeguards to ensure federal grant dollars are maximized for the greatest public benefit. To accomplish this, General Government Finance staff developed the attached grant management policy to ensure fiscal and programmatic accountability of all federal funds awarded to the City.

WHEREAS, It is the City's responsibility to maintain appropriate safeguards to ensure federal grant dollars are maximized for the greatest public benefit, and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the Council to adopt a comprehensive grant management policy to ensure fiscal and programmatic accountability of all federal funds awarded to the City.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: The City Council adopts the Federal Grant Management Policies and Procedures manual that is attached to, and made part of, this resolution.
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
