WHEREAS, from time to time the City Council has to make adjustments to their calendar for FY2017 because of holidays and conferences, and
WHEREAS, there are three holidays that fall on Work Session/Council meeting dates that need to be rescheduled. There are no conferences that conflict with Council meeting dates.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Approves the Work Session and Council meeting dates with the same times (4:00 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. respectively) that holidays fall are rescheduled as follows:
Monday, January 18, 2017 is rescheduled for Tuesday, January 19, 2017 to accommodate Martin Luther King Day
Monday, July 3, 2016, which is a holiday gap day is rescheduled for Wednesday, July 5, 2017 to accommodate Independence Day
Monday, September 4, 2017 is rescheduled for Tuesday, September 5, 2017 to accommodate Labor Day
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
