We are requesting to use $500.00 of this unbudgeted donation towards the purchase of reading material/books required for promotional testing. We are requesting to increase the Supplies Expense account 100-2010-6049 in the amount of $500.00 and increase the revenue Donations account # 100-2010-4651 in the amount of $500.00, resulting in a $0 net effect.

WHEREAS, the Police Department has received an unbudgeted donation from Walmart Store #904 in the amount of $500.00,
WHEREAS, the Police Department requests to use the unbudgeted donation in the amount of $500.00 towards the purchase of reading material/books required for promotional testing .
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Accepts the unbudgeted donation in the amount of $500.00 and amends the Police Donation Revenue account # 100-2010-4651.
SECTION 2: Approves the use of the unbudgeted donation funds to purchase reading material/books required for promotional testing and amends the Supplies account number 100-2010- 6049 by $500.00, resulting in budget neutral action.
SECTION 3: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
