Summary
Street Department is requesting an unbudgeted project to clean up the property located at East Fern and North Cypress, next to the Foley Horse Arena. The Forestry Mowing will make drainage improvements as well as help alleviate nuisance issues. The scope of work is 5 acres plus the ROWs surrounding the Horse Arena. Street Department currently holds a bid contract with GreenCo to perform this type of work. The work to be performed is estimated at $17,550, so we are asking for $18,000 under account # 400-5039-5100 Land Purchase- Adjacent to Horse Arena.

WHEREAS, Street Department is requesting an unbudgeted project to clean up the lot located at East Fern and North Cypress, adjacent to the Foley Horse Arena, AND
WHEREAS, The Forestry Mowing will make drainage improvements as well as help alleviate nuisance issues, AND
WHEREAS, the Street Department requests $18,000 under account # 400-5039-5100 Land Purchase- Adjacent to Horse Arena.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Approves the unbudgeted project to clean up the lot located at East Fern and North Cypress.
SECTION 2: Authorizes GreenCo to forestry mow property located at East Fern and North Cypress, PPIN 72519 and PPIN 72520.
SECTION 3: Amends the FY23 budget to increase funds in account # 400-5039-5100 Land Purchase- Adjacent to Horse Arena by $18,000.
SECTION 4: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
