Body
WHEREAS, the City of Foley has a desire to construct a fire station on the eastern side of the City of Foley; and
WHEREAS, David L. Vosloh and Sue Neff Vosloh, as Trustees under the The Vosloh Family Revocable Living Trust dated July 17, 1995 ("the Voslohs"), have generously agreed to donate certain real property to the City of Foley on the condition that the City construct a fire station on the site which is capable of being staffed 24 hours a day; and
WHEREAS, the property the Voslohs desire to donate has been deemed acceptable and suitable for the City's purposes;
NOW THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council as follows:
SECTION 1. That the Mayor, City Clerk, City Administrator, and other City officials, employees and agents are hereby authorized to accept the conditional donation of property valued at $30,000 from the Voslohs and to spend money for fees and expenses to third parties to cover the costs and expenses incidental to the closing of the property transaction and the acquisition of title to the property by the City amends Account #12-665-7306, Q84, CLOSE, not to exceed $7,500.00.
SECTION 2. That all prior actions taken by the City officials, employees and agents in connection with this contemplated real estate transaction are hereby ratified and approved.
SECTION 3. That the current working legal description for the subject property is as follows, subject to revision or amendment in connection with the title review and closing process:
