WHEREAS, There is a need to amend the City's Pay Classification Plan to remove the Economic Development Director, and, to transfer funds in support of creating a temporary part-time position of Economic Development Coordinator.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Authorizes an amendment to the Pay Classification Plan to remove the Economic Development Director position, Job Code #1301, from the Pay Classification Plan effective December 1, 2017.
SECTION 2: Authorizes a transfer of funds in the amount of $21,000 from Account #01-620-1010 (salaries) to Account #01-620-1015 (part-time salaries).
SECTION 3: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
