WHEREAS, Resolution 15-2272 approved the application for the third round of the Gulf Tourism and Seafood Promotional Fund.
WHEREAS, the City has been awarded the grant for $37,720.00
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Accepts the Gulf Tourism and Seafood Promotional Fund grant in the amount of $37,720.00 to provide funding for print, broadcast, cable and printed marketing materials to promote the City.
SECTION 2: Appoints Kate Embry as grant manager.
SECTION 3: Amends the budget accordingly and approves the expenditure of grant funds under Grant Revenue Account No. 12-5814 and Expense Account No. 12-665-7309
SECTION 4: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
