WHEREAS, the City of Foley seeks to make improvements at the City Hall for employees and the public; and
WHEREAS, the installation of a concrete pad with three benches and three planters will provide a safe and functional outdoor space for city employees and visitors while enhancing the exterior environment of the facility; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds it necessary to appropriate funds for these improvements in the amount of $8,850.00.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: The City Council hereby approves the appropriation of funds and budget increase to account number 100-1020-6010 in the amount of $8,850.00 for the installation of a concrete pad and the purchase and placement of three benches and three planters at City Hall.
SECTION 2: The appropriate City officials are authorized to take all actions necessary to complete the improvements described herein.
SECTION 3: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
