WHEREAS, the present radio and telephone recording system has been in service for ten years and has reached its end-of-support, and
WHEREAS, the part of the system that is currently used for radio recording is running on outdated, unsupported, and difficult to replace digital to analog conversion hardware and the new system will capture the radio traffic digitally, and
WHEREAS, Quality Recording Solutions, LLC has provided a quote for the upgraded replacement NexLog Eventide system, utilizing GSA Contract # GS-35F-0415V, for the amount of $21,703.75
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Approves the purchase of the NexLog Eventide recorder system under GSA Contract # GS-35F-0415V from Quality Recording Solutions, LLC for a total of $21,703.75 under account # 1000-1040-5100.
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
