WHEREAS, Resolution 18-1087 approved application for an FY2018/19 Certified Local Government (CLG) Grant to perform a Predevelopment Feasibility Study at Cactus Café, and
WHEREAS, the Alabama Historical Commission (AHC) has approved the application and
funding for the grant needs to be appropriated.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Approves $16,667 for a Predevelopment Feasibility Study at the Cactus Café building and appoints Miriam Boutwell as Grant Manager.
SECTION 2: Accepts award of AHC’s CLG grant in the amount of $10,000 and approves a 40% project match of $6,667.
SECTION 3: Approves appropriation in the FY19 Budget of $10,000 grant revenue and $16,667 for the cost of the Study.
SECTION 4: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
